Amarillo says high school football is more important than college football?

Even high school volleyball was on the front page of the sports section.

Notice the very bottom left corner that says the WT game information is on the back page 4C.

Hard to believe that some people think this is the right way for Amarillo to treat their 4-year university.

And it's hard to believe that some people think D2 is where WT needs to be forever.

You can tell the Globe News thinks high school is more important D2.

Because on the front sports page on the Globe News website...they do the same thing.

WT football game is only mentioned in the very bottom left corner.

And they don't people to see it.

Then scroll down and see how Tech football is number one news in Lubbock...........................

Lubbock thinks Texas Tech is more important high school.

And that is how it should be in Amarillo.............................................

WT football had nearly the entire front page of the sports section today. Guess D-II is more important on Sunday than D-I or high school. Have to look way at the back to find lowly D-I Texas Tech.

I don't know.

It still looks like they put WT D2 football below high school volleyball in the sports today.

And they almost never talk about high school football on a Sunday.

So WT still got back page priority to high school yesterday on Saturday.

And college football should still always be top priority on Saturday.

West texan, you simply have too much time on your hands.....No other D-II and most lower level D1s get as much coverage in their local newspapers as WT does in the AGN.....My gosh, the headline blazed about WT this morning in larger font than the VB story.....And WT coverage wouldn't be any greater in the AGN if WT were a low level D1.....
