Be sure to have your doors locked and windows rolled up when driving through Panhandle.
It's a rough town. ;D

Would be doubtful if anyone who pays attention to the TV weather maps would fall for it. ;D
But you guys would probably have fun going somewhere in Lubbock to eat and talk.

That time I was trying to find canyon going south on I-27 and missed the rockwell rd turn off (back when you could turn on that road LOL) I almost ended up in Lubbock LOL after 20 min. I go 'didn't think it was that far' then I looked up and saw a sign Happy Plainview Lubbock I had no cellphone and low on gas, I said a prayer and hit Happy and got sent back the right way to Canyon. w-t, with those directions to the good lady, you should have to spend some time in the Dairy Queen in Panhandle and eat at least five orders of onion rings.
Shark, while I can't figure why someone would ever want to travel to Spearman, the home of God fearing people in the middle of no where.... Simply travel up I-27 to Amarillo, take I-40 to the Lakeside exit, take Lakeside north to Hiway 60 and exit to the East. Follow Hiway 60 to Panhandle (a garden spot) and take Hwy 207 north through Borger, Stinett and you arrive at Spearman....for whatever reason you want to be in the god-forsaken-town......

Contrary to SJ's thinking...not all roads lead to Panhandle. ;D

I don't do onion rings, so if I were to spend time in a DQ...it would have to be tater tots! ;D
