Deer are a problem when driving after dark on open country highways in Texas.
But you can't just turn hunters loose on them.
Why?
1. Because they might end up in the same endangered state as the buffalo.
2. Many of the road spots where deer are crossing...are not that far from houses.

Hopefully his rifle is within reach. You never can tell sometimes what is photo shopped. A mountian lion standing there just looking seems very unlikely, although the red eyes do seem consistent with the flash of the camera. I say the odds are better than even it is a faked image, cat instincts are just too wily and skittish to stand around staring at humans unless they are planning on having them for dinner.
