rained last nite in Joplin, Missouri where we spent the nite hoping when we got back they would have had some rain here too, but, nope, not that I can tell. think Wed we had a h*ll of a dirt storm though. my garage doors and his new truck looked like it had been on a dirt safari. I jumped out of van and hosed and washed down the whole place. don't know why this poor area can't catch a rain break. Like to have never found the Cherokee trading post ! I always stop there, his stupid GPS unit that sits on the dashboard rerouted us a different way, the shorter way and you should have heard him raise h*ll when we hit the Kilpatrick tow road ! LOL "wish you would stick that place where the sun dont' shine" on and on for miles. We almost got sideswiped in St. Louis old fart cut in front of us, he hit the brakes and we were so close to the old fart I could see his whiskers ! his wife was asleep. shouldn't had been driving to old to drive thru St. Louie !

About 2am the other morning or night however you look at it.
It sprinkled a little bit...thundered...and then blew a lot of dirt.
Mostly wind out of that thunderstorm...and it even blew a big tree down across a storage shed.
You were out of town...and I don't think Phantom was in town...so we can't blame it on her. ;D

Phantom was way far out of town. ;D. I flew to Minneapolis to see my nephew get married. Then I got to spend a few hours at Mall of America. Amarillo was the last thing on my mind. .

Mall of America is a marvel if you are into mall shopping. The west Edmonton Mall in Edmonton Alberta, Canada is even grander and you should see it if you ever get up that way.
I flew to Minneapolis once out of A-Town and they put me on Continental, which means I had to go out of Houston. I got to looking at the air miles between Amarillo to Houston (528) and Houston to Minneapolis (1048) and found that Amarillo is 8 air miles closer to Minneapolis than it is to Houston.

We're old and don't know how to book flights 'cept thru AAA. Liked to know what it costs to take a prop from here to Dallas then from Dallas to Evansville, Ind. His mother could let go at any minute she'll be 92 soon.
