My daughter had her first game last week with Kids Inc. She is on a volleyball team. Her school did not have enough players So Kids Inc called and told me she would be playing with another school. Said there would be 8 players if she plays. That is ok with me and Shel so we go ahead and pay the fee for her to play. Come to find out, there is 12 players and not much playing time with that many kids. Now I know Kids Inc was wanting to build a bigger place in down town Amarillo so the kids can have a place to practice and possibly start some low fee Club teams for kids who cannot afford club ball. Well the rules for Kids Inc volleyball says they cannot spike the ball. How can a kids be competitive in volleyball if they are not able to play the game the way it is expected of them in Middle and High school? She plays Club volleyball and last week was very confusing to her because the rules are soo different. So I am a little aggrevated that we spent money for her to barely get to play and play a game with completely different rules then what they play in school....grrrrr.
