Nope, we need to hire Burt Lancaster hahahah seemed like he played a charleton who claimed he could make it rain in a movie. I remember a summer up in Ind. when we had a bad drought (believe it or not) and the addition to our house started pulling away from the main house. He just had it flashed up at the seam and hoped nobody would notice hahahahah It sold..LOL

don't worry, with all the money we came down to in order to sell the thing in these hard economic times he can afford to tend to it if need be. ;D

I guess even with the drought and fires.
We're still better off than getting slammed with tornadoes like Missouri and Oklahoma.
Right?
The current weather pattern we have going right now in the south central plains sucks for a lot of people in several states.

I'm glad my water is free, on water well. I can still water my sod and not lose that, rest of the yard looks like crap. LOL I think water is high in town. Up in Ind used to pay like 35 a month for 2 people. Think it's higher in Amarillo. Attachments:

If it doesn't rain, the well could go dry.

I've read a lot of books on the Romanovs, Catherine the Great, etc. history buff. Mostly though on English history. In Russian movies they call each other comrade. What brings U to a Tx website ?

Ha ha, they call each other comrade only in movies nowadays. However, some dude turned to me yesterday in the elevator saying,'Wow, where are you going, comrade miner?' The matter is he'd seen my head-flashlight that makes me looking as a miner)) But I guess you know that's a joke and I also guess you're joking too about the comrade thing As for me being here, I like the nature of Texas and one of my pen pals lives in Amarillo. I thought having found this forum I'll be able to get to know with kinda Amarillo Internet community or just learn something about routine life over there That's interesting. You asked me as if I'm the first Russian user on this TX website And speaking about your well, was that all right during the last blizzards?

water wells at least where I live are 300 ft below ground and U only see the top of them, where there is nothing but a cap that opens and U pour in a cup of bleach to keep bacteria down. You pay for that and the septic system when you first build a house.
