I really haven't followed this very closely.
Is Casey's mom still alive?
Where is the grandmother of the dead child?
In real life.
I know of at least 2 circumstances where grandparents have raised a young child.
While the young single unmarried mother got some partying out of her system.
One instance where the grandparents adopted the grandchild.
And another where the mom took the child back when she finally got married and then settled down after several years.
These were instances of women I knew who were a few years younger than me.
Where I knew the mom and the grandparents.
Fortunately there are usually people close by who can take over raising the kid in that circumstance.

yeah, your out of the loop alright. Yes, Cindy Anthony is alive and was on witness stand many times. Broke down a few, as did her husband, George and son Lee. I feel sorry for the neighbors down there in Fl. all that buzz going on. They just want the Anthonys to move on. LOL

While I was at most a very casual observer of this trial, it seemed to me all that the prosecution really proved was the child was deceased and someone placed her body in some God for saken place.
I don't see how a jury could find the mother guilty because all evidence was circumstantial. It was evident she would never be a candidate for mother of the year. And, she apparently lies alot.
It was disclosed by the trial, this family, including grandparents, is very dysfunctional. It was too bad such a pretty little girl had to meet such a fate at the hands of someone most likely in this family.

One thing glaringly apparent through all of it is the mother's silence in seeking justice for her daughter. That pretty well says everything I need to know about her consciousness of guilt as the the circumstances surrounding her daughter's death. In the end it comes down to no cause of death established beyond a reasonable doubt, plus no sanity established beyond the faintest doubt equals no homicide proven.

All I know is everybody is ready to lynch her. My hairdresser would wring her neck just for the fun of it. LOL I go along with how can U indict somebody to the chair without absolute, no question proof which is what I think the jury did. There's no place on God's green earth that woman can go I don't envy her. When you have a angry mob after you, plus, people who are loonies looking to make themselves a name you got plenty of heartache. Weird family alright. If you haven't seen your 2 yr old in 31 days wouldn't you go mmmmm wonder where my baby is ? Reminds me of the Lizzie Borden case , in a way. In this day and age of getting DNA from a eye brow or hair how can somebody not find something that would tie in whoever done it ? amazing, to me.

Yeah, I saw that interview where that Flynt offered her big bucks to do the naughty. She looks to much like the local gal down at the burger joint, men want to see another type of hootchie. LOL
