Anyone know what happened to channel 2 that used to be the PBS channel ? If it was in the paper , I missed it. I wish channel 7 would up their broadcast signal, also. I can get the other channels with just a inside antenna purchased from walmart . A square box that sits in the window sill, but, not 7. I got a antenna in the attic that goes to the living room and that brings in 7. Guess I'll have to hire somebody to run a splitter off of the antenna in the attic so I can get 7 in the bedrooms and bathroom. If direct Tv keeps upping their rates, we're going strictly Roku that connects via wi-fi. Sure will miss direct though.

I'm hanging with DirecTv for the time being, but that was necessitated, or at least I thought it was, when I added the media room (my wife calls it the man cave) and all my sets were hi def. I lease 6 friggen receivers from them, and the a-holes wanted to say I had a two year obligation to them when I bought my own receiver and installed it myself.
I can easily see us parting ways in the near future and just going back to the basic cable package in standard def. We get movies off the Internet now through the bluray player and the game consoles so I don't need to see antiques roadshow in HD, at least not for DirecTvs rates.

Why do you need TV in the bathroom?

I miss pbs don't know if it went flat or equipment problem ? Phantom, I got a big ol' jacuzzi in my bathroom and put a small tv on the wall, one of life's small luxuries. When my old fart retires he can't take that away from me like he can Direct Tv because we don't pay for water hhahahhahaha He thinks our 100.00 bill a month, will , in the future be 200-300, so, he's looking elsewhere. Our 2 yr. contract runs out this April.

KACV is the local Amarillo PBS station that is located at Amarillo College.
If you'd like to call them and ask..the phone book says the number is 371-5222.
And if you can get the station on one antenna but not the other, you might see if the problem antenna has a tuning knob you can adjust.
If you wanted to, I could even give you directions where you walk in and ask in person.
And I think you can also by antenna booster boxes at Walmart or Best Buy.

Thanks will give them a call. I can't get PBS on any TV LOL with my fancy antenna in the attic I used to be able to get it, the back bedrooms just has the sitting in the window flat box like antennas bought at walmart.
if he pulls direct tv from the house I want to be able to get all the free channels I can. LOL
