Sure had us a hail/rain/lightning event last nite ! Sounded like somebody beating on my skylight and window shutters and door. I was happy for the rain, but, could had done without the thundering hail. Keeps U up half the nite to boot.

Wind and about an inch of rain at my place in Amarillo, but no hail.
If we can keep up this pace, this summer would be much better than the bone dry stuff we had last summer. ;D
My yard still smelled wet tonight.
I wonder if Lubbock will have another Mars red dust storm?

We might...seeing as how many of us may actually be aliens. But, we got some of that rain last night also. Nice.

I hope there won't be any water consumption restrictions in Amarillo this year.

There are water restrictions in Lubbock. I can only water my yard on Sundays. The day you get to water is based on the last number of your address. I plan on reseeding my lawn this Summer. May spend a lot of time hand watering.

We never had a sprinkler system put in. We're poor folk LOL and drag hoses to the spots that we want to keep looking nice. Water my crepes is about all. Lost 2 of my 5 trees I had bought in from those guys selling them at the Coyote corner place. If they ever return to their spot I'll see if I can get them to replace them for free. think they were guaranteed for a yr. shouldn't had , had them planted last Aug during the drought. I hand nursed them , but, I lost couple anyway.
