Where's everybody at ? Glad we don't have to worry about no 'sandy' storm. Can U imagine living in the big city with people reaching and grabbing for supplies, dog eat dog, survival of the young and the fittest. No good time there. Halloweenie will be here and gone before long then time to break out the turkeys. Attachments:

Last I checked I am still getting up in the mornings. I've been doing a lot of traveling lately (made Southwest Airline's A list). In fact, I'm headed to Austin for an overnight tomorrow.

Overnight stay LOL. I'm taking a child to place with her grandmother. I have to spend the night and will fly back late afternoon on Wednesday. Austin has a much larger airport than Amarillo. Some pretty good restaurants. Of course, everything in airports is expensive. One of the few negatives in flying, as far as I'm concerned.

I stay off those things as much as possible. I saw a documentary one time on Tx and wind shear problems. Think it was in Dallas-awful. Now, you got geese being sucked up and killing one of the engines. Husband went to Dallas from Amarillo was gonna fly from dallas back to Evansville, Ind. Pilot never showed up, so, they had to book 'em all at their expense in overnight motels. He got a nice one. called me and said you'd love it here , lux & all. I don't like putting my life in somebody else's hands whether it be plane, Dr. or whatever. LOL

Planes are safer than cars...and a whole lot faster.

might be, but, I always think of the celebs who went down in planes. Patsy cline, Big bopper, Carol Lombard, Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, etc. When I first flew it was yrs. ago on a belated honeymoon to Hawaii and I wouldn't get up to go to bathroom I was afraid I'd make the plane crash if I got out of seat. Wonder I didn't pee myself. LOL I always close my eyes, don't look out the window and try to read the National Enq. or something and hope no babies are close to me. Lordy, is there anything worse then a squawing baby close to you on a plane and you can't get away from the howling.....I'd rather have a root canal. LOL

The worst thing about flying is the security. It was much more pleasant when you didn't have to undress to board a plane.
