Thank God that mess is almost gone! Hubbo is off on Mon. so he didn't have to kill hisself to try and go to work that day. Tues. was bad enough. We had no mail or paper for 3 days. I wouldn't take a chance of going to the mailbox anyway. I can't risk a fall I'd just lay there till I died from cold. So, I sit in house and made the best of it. Worst, we've seen it since we moved here in 2010. Only difference in this mess and what I'm used to up in Ind is up there it would have stayed longer, I'd lost power for no telling how long. I'm rooting for the 60's.

Amarillo is at 3700 feet for altitude with mountains out west and we are so far north of the coast that we have potential for some big snows.
And I still think it was a bit mean that Phantom drove to Midland and piled a million tumbleweeds on that guy's house.
Talk about a mess because it won't melt like snow.

Amazing how I could do that and get up to Amarillo to pile huge drifts on your streets. I am good!

I hate those old tumbleweeds ! they blow in front of my car and I'm afraid they will clog up my exhaust pipe, they clog up the drains around here. etc.
Hey Phantom you ever see those good looking hunks from 'Black Gold' down around midland? I'd like to say hello to couple of them good ol' boys. hubba , hubba. I'd kick Brandon's butt and straighten out that little 'boy' he needs to grow up he's 31. I'd like to say 'howdy' to Cheston too. He's got more sense then Brandon , but, still needs to grow up. Everything is bigger in Texas............sweet dreams..........
