Maybe you should also ban TORNADO'S and HURRICANES. Sure would save lives and a lot of pain and suffering. So your argument means we should stop tracking the weather and warning people and taking shelter. You really do need wisdom to know the changes you can change.

Marked, Since you seem to be implying that you are a man of wisdom about this topic, what do you propose in the way of gun control? I would like to know what your masterful liberal wisdom would be to have have kept Cho from getting a gun.

I would like to know what your masterful liberal wisdom would be to have have kept Cho from getting a gun. Background check. Would have at least slowed him down. He didn't look like he'd be very popular with the gangs. Might have raised the red flag that would have caused someone to get him help.

There were red flags raised. The system is too overburdened to do anything about the red flags and due to the issue of rights, he wouldn't have been forced to get help unless a court proved he was a danger to himself or others. Hard to do that before he went on his killing spree.

maybe . . . , maybe . . . , maybe . . ., maybe . . . what if . . ., what if . . ., what if . . ., what if . . .
I think the arm chair quarterbacks who seem to be so blessed with such keen hindsight should convert that to foresight to proactively prevent the next attack.
