When I decided to join this forum I thought it afforded me an opportunity to escape from the old persona that posted on Talk Amarillo and create a new identity. But I made the mistake of saying I was a regular poster on TA. Some people were intrigued with the idea of the mystery poster and some did not believe me and treated me with suspicion. That is understandable considering what happened at TA.
I also found it difficult not to post as myself which was making me into someone else I didn't want to be. I knew that eventually I would let slip and my identity would be apparent and I worried that some people might be put off at that as if I were trying to make them look stupid. So since it is apparent to me that duplicity does not suit my nature I decided to come clean and just be myself for good or for bad.
And as to my identity, I think that became clear at the press conference I held this morning.  . . . . . . . . . .

That sure looks like veggie at that conference, but with so many imposter's around I have my doubts. I think some questions are in order.

I actually had bad dreams last night over this. Never again! I'll keep the name and cool avatar but it will still be me. And Unk I love ostriches. I used to party with one that was fond of M&M's and ginger beer named Ollie. I hope he shows up here sometime.
So Sharon knew it was me all along....after the fact.
I sure didn't fool Brandywine though did I?.......should have known.

Veggie!! I just knew it - that's too funny. I even told BB and Rena yesterday I thought it was you. ;D
You are right - lots of clues; I just knew what to look for. I also remember you being fascinated by that same picture on "the old forum" awhile back. ;D

Last night I noticed on the main page that Jake had made a comment on this thread. I didn't go look what it said as I was in a hurry but made a mental note to look today. Now the comment is gone and he appears to be banned. I don't care what the comment was but I can't help but be curious as to what it said.
