I just could not get over how a father could leave a message like that for his daughter. His defense was anyone who knew him personally and knew what he was going through would understand. No there is no excuse or acceptable reason to act like that towards your child. Do you think maybe this behavior is why she does not want to talk to him? I could only imagine how he is live on the phone. He sounds so great on a recording.

I think the guy is just full of hate. He always plays the a-holes in his roles, and he is actually pretty good at it. Perhaps it is not much of a stretch for him.

And Alec wants people like HIM running this country and HE says GW is an idiot?
Of course Alec is a man of his word, what country did he move to btw? I forget, he DID say he would move to another country if Bush won, um, yeah, flip goes the flop.

I was disgusted that the news media was reporting it. This is not a news story, it is a private family matter, and it is sleazy for the news media to get played as a pawn by a manipulative wife in a bitter divorce case, just as it is for anyone to be commenting on it.
I think Alec Baldwin represents everything that is bankrupt with the ideology of the Hollywood-liberal left axis in this country. I will give him credit for being passionately concerned about the welfare of his children. That the poor girl's mother would exploit her daughter in such a shameless publicity stunt really says it all about the breakup of the marriage.
Kim Basinger is an insect and I hope she is prosecuted for this. I heard this disgraceful conduct was in violation of a court order.

He deserved for the world to hear him being an @ss to his child. Maybe now people will consider the source when he starts spewing his hate and ideology all over the place.

No one should talk to a child like that. There is no way what he said is justified, no matter the situation. I can see being angry, but he was frothing at the mouth, as he usually does.
Who does this guy think he is anyway? He's an ACTOR. I get so tired of actors and celebs behaving as if they are some kind of royalty, or someone who thinks they know more than the average Jane just because they put their face (or various other bits) in front of a camera. Being an actor doesn't make you a statesman or anything close to it.
