Really off-topic to this thread...but it has a lot to do with burnout... so I'm probably going to be posting occasionally on a college football board...and not much more on this board for a while. Where is this at? I'll go. I like watching fan boys talk about things they know little about! Esspecially NCAA rules and applications. www.d2football.com

:PI don't buy from TNT but if the prices are what you say why aren't the other places like walmart charging much less??? Where are the gas wars??? Sam's is always cheaper. Why are people buying from TNT or any place that is higher? ;)You know why they charge that much don't you!!! ::)Because they can!!!!!!@#@@@ ;)Shop the cheaper!!! Peace

Peace Sam's and United are more expensive in Amarillo than in other markets because the major player sets prices high.

GM's wholesale gasoline business is big enough that he and the other jobbers can set the wholesale price to the retailers extremely high. He charges TNT the higher price, so that, according to GM, they only make 2 or 3 cents per gallon, but his wholesale business is making 40 cents per gallon.
All the other retailers are having to pay the higher wholesale prices because GM and the other jobbers set the price artificially high. Why? As someone said, because they can.
PLEASE...remember...anytime you shop at TNT for anything, not just gas, you are contributing to the problem. The only way to get GM's attention is to have all his employees standing around with no customers.
