That was only racecat's third post. Think he/she will show back up to answer your question?

27th and Grand. Diagonally caddy corner from Ambers II. They have great breakfast burritos. They serve chicken fried steak, hamburgers, sandwiches a few different salads. On Friday nights they generally run a few different dinner specials.

I have never been charged a fee using my debit card at any Toot-n-Toum....for cash back at the counter ....ever. To play it safe, I normally use the Amarillo National Bank ATM that is at about half or the stores, and never get an extra charge. I only had a surcharge once by using the card at a Bank of America ATM, but never at any other non-ANB ATM. I have used ANB for over 20 years and have never had a problem with them with extra fees.

More importantly, what's Judy's and how are their sandwiches? Their breakfast burritos are absolutely the best. They are at 26th and Grand. Their lunch is also very good.......

I actually ran into a couple on the beach in Mexico last summer and they said they used to live here and that was one place they really missed.

It's the bank TNT is using to process the transactions. Walmart gives their bank enough business...they don't get charged. TNT is most likely just passing along a bank fee they have to pay...down to the consumer. Has nothing to do with which store it was...and the fee would be automatically added to the cash back amount...on your card. That would only apply if you were using the debit card from WalMart's bank. Mitchell and Richard Ware play squash on a regular basis. Squash the little guy?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner to reply to the question about Judy's, Cat meow. Judy's is an old Mr. Burger building with great food. Their burgers are very good. And, they have a huge breakfast burrito that is great, too. And, someone else has already posted the location. Thanks... And, I was trying to use my debit card to pay for gas and get some cash back. It was not an ANB debit or I would have just gotten cash out of the ATM machine. But, I know there are plenty of other people that will keep TnT in business so I won't have to worry that they will miss my business because they will not be getting it again. ;D

Gas was 2.71 in Plainview on Sun. Was it at a Rip Griffin store? That's the closest thing Lubbock has to being as big as TNT...and they've branched out to other towns.

We have the highest gasoline prices, but we have some of the lowest diesel prices in the state?? Go figure. I would like to get an old VW Jetta with a diesel engine and convert it to run on used vegetable oil. That way, I can just get a little grease every night at Hummers and never have to fill up again. ;D I had OKC last week and I experienced a phenomena very similar to your Plainview trip, Marked. Gas was in the $2.72 range at all the truck stops. I know that is what they were selling it for at the Flying J right outside of town. I hit the Amarillo City limit and, bam, the price suddenly went up to $2.85.
